The nutrient content varies depending on the type of processing used to extract the oil.

 

It has a protein ranging between 35%-42% and is mainly used in ruminants to raise the protein concentrate in compound feed.

Soy bean sprouts

Soybean meal is a by-product of soybean fat extraction and has a high crude protein content of 41-48%.

 

It is commonly used in the feeding regime of poultry, pigs, cattle and less of sheep.
